[FREE*] Australia VS Ecuador live stream 28 March 2023

It was the prodigiously talented Kuol’s first international goal, making him the fourth-youngest Socceroos scorer in history. PLAYER RATINGS: Veteran shines but youngsters impress - including a ‘special talent’Kuol caps epic Socceroos showing! | 00:36While this clash and Tuesday’s rematch with the South Americans are being heralded as the ‘Welcome Home Series’ to celebrate Australia’s World Cup performance - and all-but-one of the starters went to Qatar - there was a clear eye on the future as Graham Arnold handed out two debuts. The first was Melbourne City’s midfielder Aiden O’Neill, who started the match. 24-year-old O’Neill has enjoyed a brilliant season with Melbourne City, scoring three times and adding two assists, and exuded calmness in a solid performance. The second was Manchester City starlet Alex Robertson, who decided to represent the Socceroos instead of a number of other interested nations.

The Socceroos will take on Ecuador for the second time in four days when they face off in a friendly at Marvel Stadium Ecuador will be aiming to avenge their recent defeat to Australia when the two sides face each other in another international friendly match on Tuesday.

The Socceroos ran out 3-1 winners at the CommBank Stadium on Friday, as both teams look to build towards the future.

Australia claimed an impressive 3-1 win on Friday night in Sydney as Jackson Irvine, Awer Mabil and Garang Kuol all got on the scoresheet for Graham Arnold's side.

Ecuador did pose a real threat with the ball themselves but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal - something they'll look to fix in Melbourne.

Graham Arnold, who was named the best coach at the 2022 World Cup by French sports newspaper L'Equipe, has renewed his contract until 2026, calling on Australian officials to do more to promote football across the country.

His side's 3-1 victory over Ecuador, who produced some excellent football at the World Cup

themselves despite falling short in their final group game against Senegal, will have done Arnold's longer-term aims no harm whatsoever. Jackson Irvine opened the scoring after only 12 minutes before Felix Torres equalised 11 minutes later, with strikes from Awer Mabil and Garang Kuol handing Australia an impressive win in Parramatta. They will be hoping to complete the double-header in Melbourne four days later.

However, Ecuador will be determined to bounce back at Marvel Stadium, having dominated the first friendly match with a 64% share of possession.

The Ecuadorian Football Federation made the decision not to renew Gustavo Alfaro's contract as head coach, instead turning to former Qatar boss Felix Sanchez, despite the Spaniard overseeing a 3-0 defeat to Ecuador on home territory at the recent World Cup.

The 3-1 defeat to Australia on Friday was not how the 47-year-old would have hoped and envisaged his first game ending, then, but the former Barcelona youth coach will be determined to ensure that his players' heads do not drop at this extremely early stage of his tenure. Scoring first against a defensively organised team could prove crucial in the second fixture on Tuesday, with the absence of captain Enner Valencia through injury a notable blow to his side's hopes of doing so.

Socceroos coach Graham Arnold handed debuts to Aiden O'Neill and Alexander Robertson last time out so could look to give the likes of Jordan Bos and Nestory Irankunda their first minutes this time around. Arnold has hinted at several changes to his starting side on Tuesday night with Harry Souttar a definite absentee after being sent home early due to an ankle knock and he'll be replaced by Bailey Wright.

Arnold's men were last in action on December 3, when they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Argentina in the last 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Australia have won their last four home games,

scoring six goals and keeping two clean sheets since a 2-0 loss to Japan in March 2022.

Meanwhile, Ecuador have now failed to win their last three games across competitions, losing twice.

La Tri's last win came on November 20, when they edged out Qatar 2-0 in the 2022 FIFA World Cup opener, courtesy of a first-half Enner Valencia brace.

Ecuador are winless in four friendlies, drawing thrice since a 1-0 win over Cape Verde in June.
